Nari is an optimistic and warmhearted woman. She cares about her public image quite a bit. This can make her a little reserved and demure around those she does not know. Despite this, Nari is quick to laugh and can be a very animated woman in conversations. She is theatric in nature because she loves to entertain and make people smile.This all may make Nari sound like a shallow and fickle woman; that is far from the truth. She has a deep sense of loyalty to friends and family and often puts other's before herself when it matters. At the end of the day, her motives are guided by love and compassion for everyone and everything that inhabits Etheirys.

Overview

Nari has two recorded stories told about her life. One is entirely classified and the only way to learn of it is through Nari herself. Even why it is a secret, is a secret. Any reading this, rest assured! It was nothing illegal. That said, Nari isn't proud or happy with that chapter of her life and often goes with the public story. It's no less true, the story just omits many details:The small raen was born in the eastern parts of Othard in a tiny village known as Jangho. Her given name was Na-ri which she change to Nari when she adopted a stage name. She still goes by Nari to this day; though often introduces herself as Seong to those she does not know well. Her birth was considered auspicious by her parents and they tried to raise their daughter to be a shaman. Nari, on the other hand, found the path tied to her village boring. Having witnessed traveling performers by age five, it became Nari's dream to entertain just as they had for her.For better or worse, Nari did find a manager who helped train her to sing and dance at age 10. To stand out and be more exotic, her manager gave her the choice to have her scales removed or to find work elsewhere. She opted to have her scales surgical removed; an expensive procedure that locked her into a ten year contract. By age 12 she made her public debut and got paired with four other girls around her age. Nari became apart of an all girl idol group known as National Trea5ure. Often shortened to NT5, Nari was a dancer and provided back-up vocals. Behind the scenes, she helped create most of the choreography of their performances. NT5 toured in Yanxia, Nagxia, Dalmsca, Hingashi, Thavnair, and even parts of Islabard.Nari has been to Eorzea once before, prior to the liberation of Doma. Only recently has she returned under mysterious circumstances. All that is known is that she now serves Fluffy Ears' Armory as the newest hostess and innkeeper. Loving this work, she doesn't actually consider it a job and often tells people she is retired. The real work Nari had to do is behind her now.

Happiness ٩(＾◡＾)۶

Nari is a fun loving woman, energetic who tries to find joy in everything around her. Very optimistic; she's often very cheerful. Nari is very prone to accept most suggestions on things to do unless it sounds dirty or disgusting. This leads her to a sense of adventure that can sometimes get her in trouble... though trouble itself tends to be a quick way to bond.Nari loves chatting and meeting new people. She is a good communicator (Even if her Eorzean isn't perfect) who is brimming with things to say and share, but she can be a careful listener as well. Nari loves to please people and that means hearing their problems, helping out how she can, and being supportive.

Annoyance ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

Nari was raised to protect her public image and hates doing anything that could harm how people view her. Intimacy and sex in particular are two topics that make her incredibly uncomfortable in public. Even obscene words on those topics can fluster and upset Nari.Her village was a strict patriarchy and by many standards, sexist against women. This can have a variety of impacts on interactions with people. Nari tends to be more formal with men and has a difficult time being casual and relaxed around them. For women, this can mean in some conversations she'll defer to men first. She herself is not sexist and loves how open-minded and progressive Eorzea seems.

A final note that can be made about Nari. Something that many have never seen and could not possibly know. That would be the fact she's skilled with knives and knows how to handle a staff, spear, and katana. While no where near the levels of warriors, the small raen is capable of defending herself when she must. Nari was even trained in the arts of war dancing... though she prefers her choreography to contain less violence.
